Hired | New Construction Sales Manager

My Client is a fast-growing residential HVAC and plumbing platform focused on building a best-in-class operation across Florida. Position Summary

The Company is hiring a New Construction Sales Manager to expand and accelerate our residential builder business across Sarasota and surrounding counties. This is a true relationship-driven, field-based business development role focused on opening new builder accounts, getting qualified to bid, and growing share within existing relationships.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and execute a territory plan to grow residential new construction HVAC + plumbing revenue.
  • Prospect and develop relationships with builders (national/tract + regional/custom), purchasing leaders, construction managers, and superintendents.
  • Get “in the door” – navigate gatekeepers and secure meetings with decision makers.
  • Drive bid opportunities:
    • Secure plans/specs, coordinate walk-throughs, gather requirements.
    • Partner with internal ops leaders to develop pricing and scopes.
    • Deliver proposals, manage feedback cycles, and close awards.
  • Strengthen and expand existing builder relationships (lunches, jobsite touchpoints, ongoing account management).
  • Track pipeline activity.
  • Coordinate with HVAC and Plumbing leaders to ensure smooth handoffs from award → execution.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong network and credibility with builders/purchasing teams in the Sarasota/Tampa Bay region.
  • Comfortable “pounding the pavement” – proactive, persistent, relationship-first.
  • Able to organize opportunities, follow up consistently, and drive outcomes.
  • Technical depth is a plus, but not required – you’ll partner with technical leaders for trade-specific details.
